Letters From Yū: Where Yū Belongs

· The Way

Thank you, as always, for following Yū Bathhouse and for being part of the project from these early stages.

Over the past few weeks, I've been looking more closely at one of the biggest questions we need to answer:

🏯 Where should the first Yū Bathhouse be?

We're seeing lots of support for Bristol and London, alongside interest from towns and cities further north.

But we're not simply looking for the most popular location. The survey has shown outdoor bathing gardens are the most popular aspect of the concept, so we need the right combination of people, place and property: a community that wants Yū, and a site where we can create it properly.

🎌 Next stop: Buxton

Next month, we're taking Yū to JAPAN FEST Buxton.

We'll be talking to visitors about the bathhouse, gathering more responses and hearing directly from people about where they'd like to see Yū open its doors.

The first Yū Bathhouse needs two things: the right place, and the people who want it there. We're looking for both.

🌱 One small favor:

There are now over 200 people supporting Yū Bathhouse.

The goal is to reach 1,000 people who would genuinely like to see a Japanese-inspired bathhouse in Britain.

If you'd like to help get there, could you do one thing today?

Send the Yū survey to three people you think would actually love this.

Not your whole contact list. Just three people who make you think, yes, this is absolutely their thing.

Share the survey: https://tally.so/r/yPgQbx

Thank you for being part of the journey.

With warmth,

Cate

Founder, Yū Bathhouse
