These terms and conditions apply to the Yū Bathhouse Monthly Bath giveaway.

1. The Monthly Bath

The Monthly Bath is a free prize draw for members of the Thousand Cranes Club. Each month, one eligible member will be selected at random to receive the Japanese bathing product or products advertised for that month.

No purchase or payment is necessary to enter.

2. Eligibility

The Monthly Bath is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over.

Employees of Yū Bathhouse Ltd, anyone directly involved in administering the promotion, and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible to enter.

3. How to enter

Membership of the Thousand Cranes Club is free.

Anyone who joins the Thousand Cranes Club before the closing date for a Monthly Bath and remains an active member at the closing date will automatically receive one entry into that month's draw.

Existing active members are automatically entered into each Monthly Bath and do not need to enter again.

There is a maximum of one entry per person per monthly draw.

For the purposes of these terms, an “active member” is someone who remains subscribed to the Thousand Cranes Club at the relevant closing date and has not unsubscribed or otherwise asked to leave the Club.

4. Closing dates

The closing date and time for each Monthly Bath will be stated on the Monthly Bath page.

Anyone joining after a particular month's closing date will not be included in that draw but, provided they remain an active member, will be eligible for subsequent Monthly Baths.

5. The prize

The prize for each Monthly Bath will be described on the Monthly Bath page before the relevant draw closes.

The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. No cash alternative will be offered.

Images used to illustrate a prize are for illustrative purposes. Product packaging, presentation and other minor details may differ from those shown.

6. Selecting the winner

One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received by the applicable closing date.

The winner will be selected using a verifiably random computer process or, if another method is used, under the supervision of an independent person.

Yū Bathhouse Ltd will retain appropriate evidence of the random selection.

7. Notification and claiming the prize

The winner will be contacted using the email address associated with their Thousand Cranes Club membership.

The winner must respond within 14 days of notification. Yū Bathhouse Ltd will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner.

If the winner does not respond within 14 days, is found to be ineligible or is unable to accept the prize, Yū Bathhouse Ltd reserves the right to select another winner at random from the remaining eligible entries.

The winner will be asked to provide a postal address for delivery of the prize. The prize will be sent at no cost to the winner.

8. Winner information

Yū Bathhouse Ltd may be required to make available information demonstrating that a valid award took place. Where required, the surname and county of the winner may be made available in accordance with applicable promotional rules.

A winner may object to some or all of this information being published or made available. This will not prevent Yū Bathhouse Ltd from providing information about the promotion and its winner to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so.

9. Personal information

Personal information provided in connection with the Monthly Bath will be used to administer the prize draw, contact the winner and arrange delivery of the prize, and will otherwise be handled in accordance with the Yū Bathhouse Privacy Policy.

Membership of the Thousand Cranes Club includes the communications described when joining the Club. Members may unsubscribe at any time.

Winner information will not be shared with third parties except where reasonably necessary to fulfil or deliver the prize, or where required by law.

10. Fair administration

Yū Bathhouse Ltd reserves the right to disqualify an entry where there are reasonable grounds to believe that an entrant has attempted to manipulate or abuse the promotion, provided false information or otherwise breached these terms.

Yū Bathhouse Ltd reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend a Monthly Bath where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this unavoidable. Any changes will be made only where reasonably necessary and in a way that is fair to entrants.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

To the extent permitted by law, Yū Bathhouse Ltd will not be responsible for loss, damage or injury arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control in connection with the promotion or prize.

12. Governing law

These terms and conditions and the Monthly Bath promotion are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Entrants retain any mandatory legal rights applicable to them.
